  1. Great to hear Roberta! All you need to do is show up at the courts during scheduled play times and you will be warmly greeted and encouraged to grab a paddle and play. Simply wear loose fitting clothing (layers are a good idea)and tennis shoes. You may want to bring a water bottle and chair (optional). We have plenty of balls and extra paddles available to use (and several styles to demo) if you don’t already your own paddle. So, come on down and join the fun!

  2. Had a great time at the scramble this weekend. You guys even provided food! Awesome! The 4 of us from Chico (Ted, Michael, Jenny, Pat) really enjoyed it and appreciate the welcome…You put on a fun day of play….Thanks, Ted.

  3. I just learned to play Pickleball in Crooked River Ranch, Or. and was wondering if you have some idea of a schedule for play in Redding during late fall/winter/early spring as that is when I will return to my home in Redding. I love the sport as it allows many people of varying physical abilities to play a racket sport. And I like that you welcome everyone and indicate you have extra equipment for others to use. Look forward to joining in with your group.

    1. Renee, you are welcome to join the fun on the PB courts any time you return to Redding. Our schedule is posted on the website. M-Sat 8am – 11am at Enterprise Park; and Wednesday evening 6:30 – 8pm

    2. Greetings Renee, I wanted to follow up on your request for winter hours. Our PB group is now playing 7 days a week at Enterprise Park from 9-11am. Our alternate, rainy day, indoor location is Big League Dreams on Old Oregon Trail. I hope you can make it out to the courts when you return to town.

  4. Thank you for a warm welcome on my first day! Laurel and Bev smiled and greeted me which led me into the courts….then Tom got up from a folding chair and handed me a paddle….took me over to a court and orchestrated a group willing to train a newbie. He showed me the rules and I felt like I was playing the game! Then he introduced me to Michael who gave me a private tutorial on another court. Great group of people , inclusive, non judgmental and I plan to go this Labor Day Monday am too..can’t wait!
Thank you to all the others who welcomed me too.,

  5. Thank you Redding picklers for such a good time. As short timers we felt like part of your pickleball family. Thanks Mike, and sorry that I missed playing with Cottonwood Bob on our last day. Can’t wait to return.

    1. Sandy and Linda, it is always a pleasure to see your smiling faces and enjoy sharing your excellent PB skills. Fun to play with you both! And, fun to see your daughter, she is awesome (comes from good stock :-). Hurry back!
      All the best ~ Leslie

  6. What a great morning with wonderful people. Thanks for helping me step into this new adventure. The best part is the great people who were there, helping with different idea’s, and made me feel welcome.
